June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month

Each year, gun violence prevention advocates across the United States wear orange in memory of Hadiyah Pendleton on National Gun Violence Awareness Day, the first Friday of June—June 5 this year. Here are a few ways to get involved.

Host an event

We hope you will plan a prayer service or other event for National Gun Violence Awareness Month in June. If you choose to make your prayer service public, here are some tips for spreading the word.
